1. Introduction

Welcome to The Croatia Challenge Križevci. By accessing our website, purchasing tickets or add-ons, participating in the event, or engaging with any of our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully, as they outline your rights, responsibilities, and the rules governing your participation.

2. About the Event

The Croatia Challenge is an international off-road racing event held in Križevci, Croatia. The event features technical stages, deep mud, winching sections, and roadbook navigation over approximately 120 km of terrain. Participation involves inherent risks, and all entrants must comply with the safety standards and regulations provided by the organisers.

3. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing a ticket, registering a team, adding team members, purchasing media packages, or participating in the event:

You confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
You agree to follow all rules set by event staff, marshals, safety officials, and organisers.
If you purchase on behalf of a team, you are responsible for ensuring all team members comply with these Terms.

4. Tickets, Add-Ons & Payments

4.1 Ticket Purchases

All ticket sales are subject to availability.
Tickets cover the main entry for the registered driver/team; additional services (extra team members, media packages, etc.) may require separate purchase.
Prices are displayed in Euros (EUR) unless otherwise indicated.

4.2 Additional Team Members

Can be added during the initial ticket purchase or purchased separately afterward.
Each team member must sign all required waivers and attend technical and safety checks.

4.3 Media Packages

Provide access to official photography or videography services where purchased.
Delivered digitally unless otherwise stated.

4.4 Payment Methods

Payments must be made via Direct Bank Transfer.
Orders may be refused or cancelled if fraudulent or in violation of these Terms.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

5.1 Participant Cancellations

All participant-initiated cancellations are non-refundable, except where required by Croatian consumer law.
If you can no longer attend, your entry may be transferred to another team or driver with prior approval from the organisers.

5.2 Event Cancellations

If The Croatia Challenge is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control (weather, natural disaster, safety concerns, legal restrictions, etc.) the organisers may:

Reschedule the event, or
Provide partial or full refunds at their discretion.

Refunds will not include additional costs such as travel, accommodation, or equipment.

6. Participant Responsibilities

By entering the event, you and your team agree to:

Attend all mandatory briefings.
Pass vehicle and safety equipment technical checks.
Follow all rules outlined in the roadbook, briefings, and official communications.
Use all winching and recovery equipment safely and responsibly.
Respect marshals, officials, other teams, and the natural environment.

Failure to comply may result in disqualification without refund.

7. Safety & Liability

7.1 Inherent Risks

Off-road motorsport is dangerous. Terrain may include deep mud, steep inclines, water crossings, and obstacles. Participation is at your own risk.

7.2 Liability Waiver

By attending or participating, you:

Assume all responsibility for personal injury, vehicle damage, or property loss.
Release the organisers, sponsors, officials, partners, and landowners from liability except where prohibited by law.

7.3 Insurance

Participants are strongly advised to carry:

Personal accident insurance
Vehicle recovery insurance
Travel insurance (for international entrants)
Media professionals should hold Equipment Cover, Personal Liability and Professional Indemnity with a minimum €10m cover.

8. Intellectual Property

All event logos, text, branding, images, videos, and promotional materials are the property of The Croatia Challenge or its partners. You may not reproduce or use them without written consent.

Media Creators with official Media Accreditation may use imagery for use as stated in their accreditation agreement and may not re-sell imagery without prior permission. Media Creators are expected to share un-watermarked imagery of the event with the organisers for promotion of the event for use on the website and social media, credits will be given where possible. The organisers will not sell imagery to sponsors or teams, or share imagery with sponsors or teams without written consent.

9. Conduct & Compliance

The organisers reserve the right to:

Remove any participant or spectator for unsafe or inappropriate behaviour.
Disqualify teams for rule violations.
Modify the route or schedule for safety or operational reasons.

10. Website & Online Services

We aim to provide accurate information but cannot guarantee the website will be error-free or uninterrupted.
Third-party links may appear; we do not control their content or policies.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia.
Any disputes will be handled in the appropriate Croatian legal jurisdiction.
