Off Road Club Križevci organized on 04. and June 5, 2011. in Apatovac6. OFF ROAD CUP KRIŽEVCI 2011, a competition for the Cup of Croatia, under the auspices of Koprivnica-Križevci County and the City of Križevci, and co-sponsorship of the Community of Technical Culture of the County and City of Križevci.
The competition was organized at the Polygon, surrounding fields and private forests in Apatovac, because Croatian forests did not allow driving in their forests, with the participation of 20 crews from Croatia in the hard road-book, soft road-book, speed categories, and extrem, and 4 crews in the tourist road-book category.
Tourist driving in the tourist category was from Polygon in Apatovac, via Vojakovački Osijek, Kamešnica, Sv. Petar Orehovac, Gornja Rijeka, Kalnik, Ljubeščice, Vratno, Stupa and back to Polygon in Apatovac.
Unfortunately, a big disappointment and surprise for the organizer, and also for the drivers, was the prohibition of off-road driving in the forests by Croatian Forests. That ban came only a day before the race, and because of it, 12 teams postponed their arrival to this competition, of which 4 crews were from Slovenia.
In the unofficial part, on June 5, the drivers of quad vehicles from Križevci and Koprivnica showed the spectators attractive rides, and the members of the Vektor club from Koprivnica Ivanec allowed the children present at the Polygon to drive off-road models to remote control.
The club thanks everyone who helped to hold this event, especially patrons and sponsors, as well as club members and external collaborators who prepared this race for months.
