On November 18 and 19, 2006, Off Road Club Križevci organized a race of offroad clubs from Croatia - 1st OFF ROAD CUP KRIŽEVCI for the Croatian Cup on the fields around Apatovec near Križevci.
This competition was organized under the auspices of the Koprivnica-Križevci County and the City of Križevci, with the co-sponsorship of the Community of Technical Culture of the Koprivnica-Krivževci County and the Community of Technical Culture of the City of Križevci. Media sponsors were Radio Križevci and web portal Križevci info.
On November 18 and 19, 2006, the Off Road Club Križevci organized an all-terrain vehicle competition called the 1st OFF ROAD CUP KRIŽEVCI 2006 for the Croatian Cup, at the training ground in Apatovac near Križevci and the fields around Apatovac, Stup and Vojakovački Osijek.
There was an extremely large number of teams at the competition - 35 teams, of which 31 teams from Croatia and 4 from Serbia.
Races were held in five categories: Hard road book, Soft Road book, speed up to 2000 cc, Speed over 2000 cc and Extrem.
On the first day of the competition, Hard and Soft road book were driven on tracks of about 40 km on terrains in the surrounding area.
On Sunday 19 November, competitions were held at the training ground in Apatovac near the water factory in the categories of speed up to 2000 cc and over 2000 cc, and extreme with a large number of spectators from the surrounding villages and areas of Križevci, Koprivnica, Vrbovac, Zagreb and Varaždin.
The meeting ended successfully to the satisfaction of both competitors and organizers, with the distribution of trophies for the first three places in each category.
